MICHAEL WITT
After practicing in-house with equipment finance companies for more than 20 years, Michael Witt founded the firm in 2008 holding the firm belief that there is a widespread demand in this niche market for specialized legal services delivered at an exceptionally affordable cost. Before starting the firm, he was Managing Counsel at Wells Fargo & Co., and was chief counsel to Wells Fargo Equipment Finance and Wells Fargo Financial Leasing. Earlier, he was Sr. Vice President and General Counsel of Advanta Leasing Corp.
Mr. Witt has been actively involved in the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA) and has spoken many times at Eastern Association of Equipment Lessors (EAEL, now NEFA) and other regional events. He was educated at Cornell University (B.A. 1977) and Rutgers University School of Law (J.D. 1982) and is a member of the Pennsylvania and Iowa bars.
VALERIE DRISLANE-WITT
Valerie is the firm's administrator. She learned equipment leasing and finance at Colonial National Bank and its affiliate, Advanta Leasing Corp., where she was a legal assistant and later a senior credit analyst and supervisor of credit investigators. She was educated at Rider College (B.A. 1979) and has participated in many industry trade association functions over the years.
